The year was 2005 and I was at a Club playing a game of Poker when I saw this guy with really long hair and a long beard using a walking stick. At first he was a little intimidating but after seeing him a few times at the same club we were introduced to each other through a mutual friend. We got on like a house on fire mainly due to the fact that we both loved the NRL Team the Wests Tigers and put simply we were both fanatics.

Paul has won many industry awards representing his knowledge, spirit and customer service.
On a personal level Paul has immersed himself in volunteer work throughout his life from cooking at Ronald McDonald House with his Wife and 2 Sons, volunteering as a committee member at the local Premier League Football Club and representing various charities throughout his adult life. Paul also loves to give back through mentoring and coaching others in the industry and feels it’s his way to touch more people with his expertise and experience and in his words “I love to give back and be part of other people's journey and success”.

It’s Best We Hear In Our Directors Words The Story Behind The Name So We Asked Paul To Tell Us The Story
“When I decided to start this business I wanted the name to reflect something that was important and meant something to me. It couldn’t just be something catchy and meaningless. In the end the name came about so I could honour a very close friend of mine.
It wasn’t long after this that Jim got the nickname “Gandalf” due to his striking resemblance to the character in the movie Lord of the Rings. Many years later I shortened this simply to G. Very quickly we became best mates
G suffered from MS for over 30 years which is why he had the walking stick and in his last years was confined to a wheelchair. I used to see G 3-4 times a week and every Saturday was spent at his place (the G-Bar) sharing a meal and watching the footy. August of 2023 G had been struggling with the effects of Covid from months earlier and had in a very short time frame lost a significant amount of weight and his voice was almost gone. I took him for a trip to the hospital where he was admitted and diagnosed with cancer. I spent the next 2 weeks with him in the hospital where we recounted many stories before he passed away peacefully.
One night some months later I was trying to come up with a name for this business and I couldn’t call it Gandalf or G so I started to think. I watched the Lord of the Rings for some inspiration and when Gandalf in the movie series became the lord of all wizards he became known as “white rider” and the name stuck in my head and White Rider Wealth was born.
The logo is a representation of “Gandalf/G” riding a Tiger due to our love of the Wests Tigers NRL team. The logo was then made in a white silhouette to represent his passing over to the other side and in general the Black, White and Orange are the colours of our favourite team. I included a lightning bolt because my surname translated into English means thunder and I consider G to be part of my family. The brother I got to choose.
Charity Of Choice
When we created this business we decided that in the spirit of giving back we would recognise some charities and donate continuously. So for every settled property sale we make we will donate $100 in the client's name to our Charity of Choice. Our current Charity of Choice is “SuperTee” which is a smaller charity but does huge work for children who suffer from various illnesses in hospitals. They have been featured in the media various times both in print and on TV.
In short they provide medical grade garments for children disguised as Super Hero outfits so they can face the challenges of treatments like the Little Superheroes they are. We encourage everyone we know to help out where able as in so many cases it's the smaller charities that struggle. There is no better sight than seeing a kid smile and for even just a little while feel like they are the strongest person in the world.
